Is this safe?
Fair question. Here are the straight answers, in the open, the way we'd want them answered for us.
We only ever ask for a card code on the convert page itself. Never by email, DM, or phone. If a message asks otherwise, it's not from us; forward it to support@gc4.ai.
How does gc4.ai make money?
We buy AI capacity in bulk. Model providers give committed-use discounts. Enterprises that overcommitted on AI spend route usage through us to meet those commitments. We pay less per token than an individual would, and that difference funds the payouts. You pay the same per-use rates as anywhere else; if the board says 100%, you get 100%.
What happens if my card fails verification?
Nothing. We check the card with the store that issued it before anything moves. If the check fails, the card is exactly as spendable as it was before. We never touched it. You'll see the reason on screen and you can try again or keep the card.
Where does my card code go?
Into encrypted storage. Card balances are spent down over time, so we keep the code until the card is fully used, then purge it. While we hold it, our support team can't see it and it never appears in any email. Your receipt records the rest: which brand, the amount, and what you were credited.
What if I spend the card after converting it?
We revoke the matching credit. If you or anyone you shared the code with spends the card before we finish drawing it down, or it expires on us, that amount comes back off your balance. The window closes 30 days after conversion. Past 30 days the card is entirely our problem.
Can I undo a conversion?
No. Once a card is redeemed it can't be un-redeemed, which is exactly why everything is shown before you confirm: the verified balance, the posted tier rate, and the dollar amount you'll receive. Nothing happens until you press the confirm button yourself.
Who decides my Tier 3 offer?
A person reads it and either approves at exactly the rate you asked or declines. Any brand and any rate is fair to offer. Declines cost nothing, and we don't ask for the card code unless we approve.
Does my credit expire?
Yes, after 12 months. Each conversion is good for 12 months from the day it lands in your account. The expiry date sits next to your balance, and we email you 30 days before anything lapses.
Are there fees?
No. There are no account fees, no monthly minimums, and no charge to convert a card. The rate on the board is the whole deal.
Do I need a credit card?
No. That's the point. Your account is just an email address: it's where we send your receipts. No payment method, no password, ever: to sign in, we email you a one-time link, so only someone with access to your inbox can open your account.
